About The Position
Assists Plant Production Manager in achieving department objectives. Supervises Chemical Operators and Plant technicians/labor.
Requirements
- 2+ years of chemical batch processing & supervisory experience
- Excellent computer & problem-solving skills
- Must be a US citizen
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
Nice To Haves
- College Degree in Engineering, Chemistry or related field preferred
- Ion-exchange experience
- waste treatment experience
- Bilingual English/Spanish a plus
Responsibilities
- Under direction of Plant Manager, adds chemical dosages – per recipe/SOP – to batch processes; monitors chemical processes.
- Operates government-permitted waste discharge facility.
- Accurately documents batch processing record, ensures product traceability, adheres to quality procedures.
- Manage Chemical operators and technicians in their job tasks.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related goals as needed.
- All other duties as assigned
