About The Position

The Plant Safety Specialist is responsible for implementing and maintaining company policies that adhere to local, state, and federal environmental, health, and safety regulations within the precast/prestressed concrete production facility. This role involves ensuring compliance with all regulations, staying updated on changes, and serving as the primary contact with regulatory bodies. The position also contributes to the design and development of facilities, work areas, and procedures, making recommendations to enhance environmental, health, and safety standards. A key responsibility includes preparing, maintaining, and updating environmental policy and procedure manuals.

Requirements

All employees are required to follow all Safety and Quality rules and processes to ensure a safe working environment, and the production of high-quality products.
Bachelor’s Degree from a 4-year college or university in safety, engineering, or related discipline preferred.
Some experience and workplace training may serve in lieu of a degree.
This is an entry-level role requiring minimal experience.
The above listed items will be under direct supervision.
