About The Position

EHS Specialist works with site management, to ensure new products and programs are compliant with internal policies and procedures and promoting Environmental Health and Safety.

Requirements

Minimum of an associate’s degree in life science, safety, environmental or a related field, or a combination of equivalent education and experience.
Good analytical problem-solving skills.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Project).
Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize to meet established timelines.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide administrative assistance regarding EHS teams, including filing and tracking documents, preparing reports, and maintaining databases.
Communicating with internal and external teams to gather information and updates.
Responsible for all state and federal reporting requirements
Supporting the maintenance of EHS regulatory information management systems.
Scheduling meetings, preparing agendas, and taking minutes.
Assist in ensuring compliance with EHS policies, procedures, and regulations.
Participate in inspections, assessments, and surveys to identify potential hazards.
Assist in investigating accidents, injuries, and near-miss incidents, completing necessary reports.
Maintain EHS records and files, including safety reports, permits, and audits.
Collect and analyze data related to EHS performance metrics.
Assist with developing and delivering EHS training programs.
Assist in overseeing all environmental health and safety programs of the facility.
Data entry and interpretations of various KPIs and processes of the facility.
Regular attendance required. Mandatory overtime may be required in special circumstances.
Adhere to company safety requirements.
Assumes all other duties as requested.
