About The Position

Adler Pelzer Group, a growing global Tier One supplier of Acoustic and Soft Trim products to the automotive industry, is seeking a motivated and committed Plant Quality Engineer to join the manufacturing operations in Port Huron, Michigan. The ideal candidate will have strong personal leadership, vision, organizational and communication abilities, and a technical and mechanical background. This is a hands-on, involved engineer role for someone looking for an opportunity to make a tangible impact in the manufacturing operations and engineering of acoustic parts for major OEMs. The Plant Quality Engineer supports the Quality Manager in ensuring quality standards are met during the manufacturing process of acoustic automotive parts.

Requirements

Technical and mechanical background.

Licenses & Certifications are preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

Oversees the implementation and maintenance of the Business Management System.
Customer and Supplier liaison for plant quality activities and concerns.
Maintain quality assurance standards and procedures to meet customer demands.
Participate in the Product Development Process (PDP) to ensure Customer requirements are met.
Responsible for Quality documentation, including but not limited to Control Plans, FMEAs, PPAP, etc.
