Plant Processing Foreman - 2nd Shift
About The Position
Buffalo Biodiesel Inc. is seeking a full-time Plant Processing Foreman for the 2nd Shift. This role is responsible for material handling, liquid processing, waste treatment, and managing a team of 4-8 people. The Foreman will ensure efficient plant operations, achieve productivity targets, enforce Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and maintain safety standards. Additionally, the position involves completing scheduled reports and communicating variances to senior management. There are growth opportunities, with potential salary increases after a 90-day probationary period.
Requirements
- Associate's degree required
- Mechanical aptitude for pumps, hoses, air compressors, tankers and trucks
- Minimum 1 year of foreman experience
- Ability to drive company vehicles
- Reliable and accurate reporting skills
- Positive work ethic
- Willingness to work in a hot and greasy environment
- Proven work experience
- Willing to work inside and outside in all weather
- Management: 1 year (Required)
Responsibilities
- Oversee and coordinate day-to-day operations on the plant floor.
- Directly manage, coordinate, and lead 4–8 employees on the second shift.
- Enforce all plant safety regulations, ensure SOP adherence, and maintain a hazard-free work environment.
