We are seeking a highly motivated and teachable Plant Performance - Associate Investigator to join our Crop Health Discovery & Development team. This role supports research activities related to plant biology and plant physiology, contributing to the development of innovative conventional and biological plant performance solutions. The ideal candidate demonstrates a strong willingness to learn, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative R&D environment.

Requirements

  • Education: B.S. in Plant Physiology, Biology, Soil Science, Plant Biology, or related field.
  • Skills & Competencies: Demonstrated ability to learn new techniques and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Effective communication skills (oral and written).
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic research environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working with plants and physiological tools.
  • Experience with laboratory bioassays and greenhouse trials.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct laboratory and greenhouse experiments involving plants, applying and spraying established protocols accurately.
  • Prepare and maintain experimental materials under protocols requirements.
  • Support troubleshooting and optimization of experimental procedures; identify issues and escalate appropriately.
  • Work closely with scientists and other associates to ensure timely completion of research objectives; communicate clearly with peers and supervisors.
  • Adjust to new methods and shifting priorities in a fast-paced research environment.
  • Collect, record, and manage experimental data with accuracy and integrity.
  • Maintain laboratory safety standards and compliance with live microbes and synthetic products handling protocols.
