About The Position

The position will be cross-trained in and responsible for operating mobile equipment, and plant equipment, and working in the wash and dry plant running the PLC board while maintaining a clean workplace. The employee will be expected to operate all equipment in a safe manner. As a result, basic mechanical skills are required for the maintenance of equipment and assistance with overall plant maintenance. Each employee is responsible for ethical and professional behavior in conjunction with their job and day-to-day operations. This position does not have direct supervision over other individuals, although they may be involved in mentoring and assisting trainees and/or interns.

Requirements

• High School
• 2 + Years preferred but will train
• Pass toxicity test.
• Medical clearance to wear respiratory protection
• Willing to further training or education if requested
• Willing to provide suggestions for improvement.
• Able and willing to work extended work schedules, overtime, weekends, and call-ins, as necessary

Responsibilities

• Operate all equipment associated with Job tasks. (Loader skid steers, Material Handler, haul truck, etc.)
• Operation and knowledge of startup/shutdown procedures
• Assist the maintenance department in maintaining the plant.
• General labor, as needed.
• Ability to receive medical clearance to wear respiratory protection.
• Willingness to both provide and receive suggestions for job and plant improvement.
