About The Position
Valicor Environmental Services is looking for a Plant Operator to work in our Dearborn Facility. The Plant Operator will be responsible for loading and unloading trucks, logging weights and counts, operating heavy machinery, transferring containers, performing washouts, maintaining a clean work area, and following all plant safety policies and practices.
Requirements
- Ability to safely climb ladders and steps
- Must be able to lift 50+ pounds
- Ability to work in hot and cold environments
Responsibilities
- Load and unload trucks at the facility
- Log in all weights and counts of loads
- Operate an Excavator, Loader, Skid Steer, and Forklift
- Transfer containers from storage to processing area
- Perform tanker and vacuum box washouts with industrial power washer
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow all plant safety policies and practices
