About The Position

Arcosa Aggregates is seeking a Plant Operator based out of our Rosser, Texas plant. In this role you will support positive safety culture in an aggregate environment that is regulated by MSHA safety standards. As a Plant Operator, you will work on preventive maintenance to keep the plant running and meet daily production.

Requirements

• Experienced welder
• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Experienced welder
• Read and interpret schematics and manuals to understand the technical aspects of equipment and perform repairs accurately.
• Inspect and maintain production equipment such as conveyors and rollers.
• 3 years of experience with equipment or plant maintenance

• The ability to stand, stoop, bend, lift, walk, climb stairs, ladders, and catwalks up to 60 feet as required.
• The ability to work in varied outdoor environments (cold, hot, dry, dusty, rainy)

Responsibilities

• Actively promote safety awareness and continuous improvement through positive recognition
• Proficient knowledge of preventative maintenance of production equipment and plant maintenance
• Cleans equipment, clears obstacles in work Environment
• Be involved with safety committee initiatives
• Comply with all industry safety rules, procedures and applicable government regulations.
• Perform daily workplace inspections to maintain safe work environment
• Maintain strong communications with other plant employees and operators
• Perform other duties or responsibilities as assigned
