Responsible for the safe and efficient operations & general maintenance of all plant assets. Ensure equipment functions effectively and efficiently, is properly maintained and operates safely within design limitations. Shift work is required.

Requirements

• Three to five years of plant operator experience.
• Able to work alone on a shift schedule.
• Excellent troubleshooting skills.
• Proficient with Mustang designated standards.
• Good crisis management skills.
• Strong multi-tasking skills.
• Results-oriented, with the ability to handle multiple, time-sensitive projects while focusing on the quality of work.
• Forward-thinking with the ability to think creatively and help develop recommended solutions.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in oil and gas preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operating the natural gas processing plant with minimal supervision.
• Recognizing major plant upsets and responding to same in a safe and proper manner.
• Monitoring pressure levels, gauges and product flows.
• Adjusting plant conditions.
• Operating pumps, heat exchangers, compressors and other equipment as needed.
• Performing routine maintenance and repairs on equipment.
• Other duties as assigned.
