About The Position

Sanimax is looking to hire a Plant Laborer for the 2nd shift. The schedule will be Monday thru Friday from 2 pm to 10:30 pm. This role offers a work environment that is safe and friendly, with stable employment and excellent advancement opportunities, while contributing to a greener future.

Requirements

Minimum 18 years of age.
Ability to learn various tasks and computer systems.
Strong communication skills.
Can work independently when needed, while being a team player.
Can lift 30-50 pounds comfortably on a regular basis.
Walking/standing consistently through the shift.
Climb stairs and ladders.
Working inside and outside as needed.

Nice To Haves

1+ year experience working in a plant environment.
Experience with forklift, skid steer or other operating equipment is a plus.

Responsibilities

Perform various plant production functions including loading tankers and rail cars with finished product, mill checks, transferring and unloading product, and collecting inventory.
Back and dump trailers into staging areas.
Partner with the supervisor or maintenance to troubleshoot and repair equipment failures.
Maintain a safe and clean working environment.
Communicate with the shift supervisor on cost-saving ideas or recommendations for plant operations.
Perform other duties as assigned by a member of the management team.
