Plant Operator I
About The Position
Heidelberg Materials is one of the world's largest suppliers of building materials. Heidelberg Materials North America operates over 450 locations across the U.S. and Canada with approximately 9,000 employees. This role operates and monitors plant equipment to ensure safe and efficient production. It involves performing routine inspections and basic maintenance on machinery, maintaining accurate production and quality records, and assisting with troubleshooting and resolving operational issues. The Plant Operator I must also follow all safety protocols and environmental regulations.
Requirements
- Ability to learn and operate heavy industrial equipment safely and effectively.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards.
- Capability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to adapt to changing priorities and work conditions.
- Basic mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
