About The Position

Our internships provide an opportunity to learn what it takes to run a food manufacturing line. Your experience will be project based, with projects varying depending on current business needs. As an intern you can expect to gain valuable experience and insight into the workings of food manufacturing environment. At conclusion of Internship, you are expected to prepare a final presentation on the results of your assigned project(s) and will present your findings to members of the corporate management team.

Requirements

Ability to gather, organize, and analyze data to understand current-state performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
Ability to partner with cross-functional stakeholders and business leaders to understand business needs and develop effective solutions.
Ability to evaluate and improve core processes, ways of working, and day-to-day operational activities.
Regularly required to sit, stand, bend, walk, use hands or finger, talk, hear, feel objects, tools, or controls.
May be required to lift up to 50 pounds.
Vision abilities include close vision to a computer screen.

Responsibilities

Process improvement projects, related to improving yield, reducing waste, gather, organize, and analyze data to understand current-state performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
Partner with cross-functional stakeholders and business leaders to understand business needs and develop effective solutions.
Evaluate and improve core processes, ways of working, and day-to-day operational activities.
