The Plant Operations Manager will lead day-to-day operations across mechanical and electrical assembly, warehouse, and production planning. This role is responsible for plant performance across Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, Productivity, Inventory, and People. The manager will optimize production flow, labor utilization, material availability, warehouse operations, and plant capacity, ensuring effective material flow and inventory accuracy from receiving through production and shipment. They will establish and monitor KPIs, identify bottlenecks, and drive corrective actions and continuous improvement. This role also involves partnering with HR on staffing, employee development, performance management, and organizational effectiveness, as well as ensuring compliance with EHS, OSHA, quality, and company requirements. Driving cross-functional alignment with Supply Chain, Procurement, Engineering, Quality, Finance, and HR is crucial. The manager will lead production ramp-up, capacity expansion, and operational improvement initiatives, and provide regular plant performance, capacity, and risk updates to senior management.
