About The Position

Arrow Senior Living is seeking a dedicated Plant Operations Assistant to join our team at Fremont in Springfield, MO. This full-time role involves assisting the Plant Operations Director in maintaining the community, servicing equipment, and responding to repair requests. The ideal candidate will be a "Maintenance Magician," "Tool and Tech Troubleshooter," and "Service Support Specialist," ensuring the safety and well-being of employees, guests, and residents.

Requirements

Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
Thorough knowledge of construction, refinishing, painting, plumbing, floor/carpet care, refurbishing required.
Must have at least two (2) years of experience in apartment or other multiple unit maintenance with supervisory experience.
Clear verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to frequently lift and/or move items more than 50 pounds.
Job functions require both indoor and outdoor work, including in periods of inclement weather.
Must be criminally cleared.
Be in good health and physically and mentally capable of performing assigned tasks.
Good physical health shall be verified by a health screening performed by a physician not more than six (6) months prior to or seven (7) days following employment.
Must test free from pulmonary tuberculosis at time of health screening.
Must have a clean driving record as per the insured’s policy.
Must have a working knowledge of current OSHA regulations.

Nice To Haves

A certification and experience in HVAC highly recommended.
Landscaping experience a plus.
Experience in senior housing is preferred.

Responsibilities

Assisting the Plant Operations Director in maintaining all areas of the community.
Servicing of equipment and tools.
Rapidly responding to repair and maintenance requests and properly documenting their progress and completion.
Keeping the safety of employees, guests, and residents at top of mind, whether regarding potential environmental hazards or in relation to emergencies.
