About The Position
Maple Grove Senior Living is an award-winning senior living community providing Skilled Nursing, Assisted Living, and Personal Care services. They are a 2025 Best of Kentucky Award Recipient with a 4-Star CMS Quality Measures Rating. They are seeking a dependable, hands-on Plant Operations Assistant to help maintain their buildings, grounds, and equipment. This role supports routine maintenance, preventative maintenance, landscaping, safety inspections, and general facility upkeep.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Basic maintenance and equipment-operation knowledge.
- Strong reliability, attention to detail, communication, and teamwork.
- Ability to work independently and respond to changing priorities.
- Ability to lift/move up to 75 pounds, stand or walk for extended periods, bend/stoop, and perform indoor and outdoor work.
Nice To Haves
- Maintenance, facilities, landscaping, construction, manufacturing, or similar experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance, repairs, and preventative maintenance.
- Inspect buildings, grounds, and equipment for maintenance or safety concerns.
- Assist with landscaping, mowing, trimming, pressure washing, and seasonal groundskeeping.
- Safely operate mowers, weed eaters, blowers, edgers, chainsaws, and other maintenance equipment.
- Respond to maintenance requests and assist with facility projects.
- Maintain required maintenance and safety records.
- Follow facility policies and applicable safety requirements.
