About The Position
The Plant Mechanical Engineer develops capital projects and plant-wide grades. The role works with departments to develop project budgets and timelines, prepares bid packages and selects vendors, and provides hands-on project oversight and management. The engineer ensures work meets or exceeds current safety and environmental standards.
Requirements
- Four-year degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- High level of safety awareness and a proven safety record.
- Minimum of 4 years of industrial mechanical maintenance experience.
- Minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience.
- Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, including Root Cause Analysis.
- Strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
- Self-motivated and goal-oriented.
Nice To Haves
- Preventative or predictive maintenance experience.
- Piping engineering and installation experience.
- General understanding of industrial electrical systems and infrastructure.
Responsibilities
