About The Position

Forvia, a sustainable mobility technology leader, is seeking a Master Scheduler with a passion for planning and scheduling in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role is crucial for fulfilling customer requirements by leveling production activities, analyzing customer needs, and ensuring they are reflected in production. The Master Scheduler will analyze customer Mis-deliveries Per Million (MPM) to propose improvement action plans, define and optimize data gathering and exchange, and ensure data integrity. They will follow up on the customer delivery program by managing alerts and coordinating transportation and delivery. The role involves preparing Sales & Operations Planning (PIC) monthly to optimize resources and implementing the Master Production Schedule (PDP) for level production and provisions for demand variations. Additionally, the Master Scheduler will manage pool and safety stock levels, ensure sequencer and procurements align with the PDP, and communicate with customers. Collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to optimize resources and processes, and to anticipate and resolve issues related to engineering or mix changes, is also a key part of the role.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering
  • Fluent in English
  • Strong analytical and problem solving-skills required.
  • Excellent interpersonal including diplomacy, communication, organizational, and administrative skills are essential.
  • Ability to regularly interface with customers.

Responsibilities

  • Fulfill customer requirements by leveling the activities of the production floor.
  • Analyze, understand and anticipate customer needs, ensuring they are reflected in production activities.
  • Analyze customer Mis-deliveries Per Million (MPM) in order to propose improvement action plans.
  • Define and optimize data gathering and exchange and ensure data integrity in systems.
  • Follow up the achievement of the customer delivery program by managing alerts and following up with the transportation and the delivery of pieces.
  • Prepare the Sales & Operations Planning (PIC) monthly to obtain proper volume levels and optimize resources (employees, machines, materials and supplier readiness and capacity).
  • Implement and drive the Master Production Schedule (PDP) to ensure a level production plan and make production line provisions for variations of customer’s demand.
  • Manage the pool and safety stock levels.
  • Check that the sequencer and procurements are consistent with the PDP.
  • Communicate with customers.
  • Establish and monitor the master production schedule.
  • Prepare and implement the sales and operations planning.
  • Manage the pool and safety stocks levels.
  • Follow up the delivery performance.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to optimize the resources and processes.
