Reporting to the Supply Chain Planning Manager, the Plant Master Data Analyst is responsible for governing and maintaining the end-to-end supply chain master data ecosystem that enables planning, procurement, manufacturing, logistics, inventory management, and customer fulfillment activities within the manufacturing facility. This role serves as the plant's subject matter expert for supply chain master data, ensuring data accuracy, integrity, consistency, and governance across ERP and planning systems. The Plant Master Data Analyst partners closely with Upstream Planning, Procurement, Production Planning, Downstream Planning, Warehouse Operations, Logistics, Engineering, Manufacturing, and Finance teams to support business continuity and operational excellence. The successful candidate will own the full lifecycle of supply chain master data, from creation and maintenance to governance, reporting, auditing, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

  • Strong understanding of end-to-end supply chain planning processes, including procurement, production planning, inventory management, logistics, and distribution
  • Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail
  • Expertise in master data governance, data quality management, and process standardization
  • Ability to translate business requirements into system and data requirements
  • Strong ERP knowledge, preferably SAP and/or Oracle
  • Experience with databases, reporting tools, SQL, and data analysis platforms
  • Excellent stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills
  • Ability to influence process improvements through data-driven insights
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
  • Continuous improvement mindset with a passion for accuracy and operational excellence
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business, Information Systems, or related field
  • 3+ years of experience in master data management, supply chain planning, materials management, procurement, manufacturing operations, or related functions
  • Experience supporting supply chain business processes within a manufacturing environment
  • Experience with ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle
  • Experience with data governance, data quality management, and process controls

Nice To Haves

  • Working knowledge of SQL, database management, and reporting tools preferred
  • Experience supporting planning, procurement, inventory, logistics, or warehouse operations preferred

Responsibilities

  • Own the governance, creation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of supply chain master data across the plant
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for material master, product master, BOMs, routings, lead times, procurement data, inventory parameters, warehouse data, and logistics master data
  • Partner with Upstream Planning and Procurement teams to maintain sourcing, supplier, purchasing, lead-time, and replenishment-related data
  • Support Downstream Planning by maintaining planning parameters, stocking policies, transportation, and distribution-related master data
  • Collaborate with Manufacturing, Engineering, and Operations teams to support new product introductions, engineering changes, product transfers, and lifecycle management activities
  • Ensure data readiness and accuracy for planning, scheduling, procurement, warehousing, and logistics execution
  • Develop and publish master data quality dashboards, metrics, and audit reports
  • Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions for master data issues impacting supply chain performance
  • Coordinate data governance activities with business process owners and key users
  • Support ERP, planning system, and digital transformation initiatives through data validation, cleansing, and migration activities
  • Administer and maintain master data workflows, controls, and approval processes
  • Support inventory accuracy programs, cycle counting processes, and supply chain compliance requirements
  • Drive standardization and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance data quality and operational efficiency
