About The Position

We're looking for a hands-on manufacturing leader to run our Dover, DE plant and own everything from safety and quality to cost and team development. This is a true general-manager role: you'll run your own site with real ownership over operations, budget, and people, reporting directly to the VP of Operations. With a team of about 15, you'll see the impact of your decisions every day and have the chance to build a strong culture around safety, accountability, and continuous improvement. You'll shape the plant's capital projects, sourcing, and long-range planning, and you'll work closely with leadership at Uzin Utz North America. Requirements

  • 5+ years managing operations in a process or batch manufacturing environment
  • Solid maintenance management experience
  • Fluent in Lean, Six Sigma, and 5S
  • Comfortable leading a small, close-knit team
  • Comfortable working across Planning, Procurement, Quality, and Finance
  • Strong safety mindset and the discipline to hold yourself and your team to it every day
  • Sharp problem solver who can gather the facts, weigh alternatives, and make timely decisions
  • Ability to stay composed under pressure
  • Clear, plain-language communication
  • Comfortable with numbers and budgets
  • Proficient in the Microsoft Office suite
  • Adaptable and people-focused
  • Ability to manage change
  • Ability to develop talent
  • Ability to stay hands-on in a plant environment
  • Must be able to wear PPE
