About The Position

Share responsibility with the Vice President for the division’s profit and business results. Responsible for setting and accomplishing the goals of KNA, as well as satisfying needs of Kaneka Corporation. Cooperate with sales and technical service to ensure that all company and customer objectives are met or exceeded. Ensure the plant is operated in a safe manner and all safety requirements and procedures are followed. Must demonstrate the following emotional intelligence skills: Emotional Empathy, Positive Attitude, Excellent Communication Skills, Flexibility / Adaptability, Interpersonal Skills. Maintain complete and open lines of communication with other personnel, functions, or departments (Accounting, SHEQ, Maintenance, sales, etc.) to facilitate safe and efficient operations and interaction in the organization. Keep supervisor informed of status and progress, ensuring that regular and periodical communication takes place. Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks and keeping abreast of industry trends and related compliance issues within the area of responsibilities. Maintain professional conduct, attendance, and high ethical standards in the workplace, complying company’s policies and procedures. Fulfil mandatory training requirement applicable for department and job duties as appropriate. Perform other duties and responsibilities as required or requested by supervisor or Management. Work closely and cooperate with sales to improve or solve customer issues/problems. Ensure that all safety training is 100% completed and on time. Keep QMS/CAN Docs up to date and accurate.
