About The Position

Unitex is currently seeking a Plant Manager to oversee the production team in our industrial plant located in Linden, NJ.

The salary range for this position is $100,000 to $110,000 (plus bonus). Actual compensation decisions are based on factors such as experience, seniority, location, and other permissible job-related factors.

Schedule: Monday - Friday 5:30am - when the jobs are completed
MUST BE FLEXIBLE TO WORK ADDITIONAL HOURS WHEN NEEDED.

Requirements

• 5+ years managerial experience running a plant in a production/service environment
• Bi-lingual English/Spanish highly preferred
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic work setting
• High degree of customer responsiveness
• Understands production workflow / MS Office
• Proven ability to manage to standards

Responsibilities

• Maintain individual and department performance at established standards
• Directly manage two Assistant Plant Managers, and four Production Supervisors and all plant employees
• Ensure production levels and productivity goals are achieved
• Maintain daily reports
• Hire, Train and discipline employees as a means for achieving goals
• Oversees high level of quality of product being sent to customers
• Ensure that Unitex policies and procedures are implemented and followed
