About The Position

The 2nd Shift Plant Manager will lead safe and efficient operations across two facilities during the 2nd shift. This role involves supervising and supporting production employees and departmental operations, promoting a strong safety-first and quality-focused culture, and coordinating production activities. The manager will troubleshoot operational, staffing, quality, and equipment-related issues, support employee development through coaching and training, and utilize manufacturing and business systems. This position also involves supporting customer requirements, shipping/dock activity, and production priorities, escalating critical concerns appropriately, and assisting with continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 10 years of manufacturing experience
  • Previous leadership, lead, or supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and make sound operational decisions
  • Strong technology and computer skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
  • Flexibility to support operational needs outside standard hours when necessary

Nice To Haves

  • Associate’s, Technical, or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or related field
  • Experience leading teams in a multi-department manufacturing environment
  • Prior experience in stamping, press operations, machining, or metal manufacturing environments preferred
