About The Position

Patriot Foundry, a prominent and expanding manufacturing firm, is on the hunt for a skilled Plant Manager to become a key member of our team in Franklin, NH. The chosen candidate will be responsible for all onsite operations including planning, production, purchasing, and product delivery. The position offers a competitive salary based on experience and qualifications. Additionally, a bonus incentive is in place, contingent upon objective performance metrics.

Day in the Life:
As a Plant Manager, your primary responsibilities will entail:
Developing production schedules based on due dates, material availability, staffing, and equipment constraints.
Overseeing manufacturing operations including purchasing, production runs, external operations, and shipping
Managing staff including training, providing support, and handling disciplinary action
Ensure equipment is kept in working order and arrange for regular cycles of preventative maintenance
Interacting with production and engineering staff to ensure quality issues are resolved and documented
Maintaining a compliant work environment in accordance with safety and environmental regulatory requirements
Completing documentation in line with ISO 9001 requirements including KPIs, inspection logs, nonconformances, and corrective actions

Requirements

• Understanding of metallurgy basics, metalworking principles, and nonferrous casting processes
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, work instructions, and technical documents
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations, environmental compliance, and ISO quality systems
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Demonstrates adaptability and keen attention to detail.
• Ability to perform physical duties such as lifting 30+ pounds, bending, twisting, and standing for long periods of time.
• U.S. citizenship or documented residency
• Be 18+ years old
