Requirements

Manufacturing or related field Degree or relevant work experience
7-10 years experience in the automotive/ production field (required if candidate holds no degree)
A strategic thinker who is also effective working closely with the manufacturing operation.
A results oriented leader with experience driving a best practice culture and driving accountability at all levels.
Working knowledge Continuous Improvement and a proven track record of managing a business through a period of change.
Strong leadership and people development skills.
The ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization.

Responsibilities

All aspects of the site's operational, quality & financial targets, ensuring all departments are interlinking with the commercial teams effectively.
Overall responsibility for all environmental matters within the site and liaison with the effectively.
Manage all functions within the site P&L operating within a wider group environment - including strategy, operations, HR, finance, sales, capital expenditures, forecasting, budgeting, audit performance and expense management and support key divisional planning.
Establishing and implementing strategies that have long-term impact on business results in alignment with group objectives.
Developing actionable business strategies and plans for the site that ensure alignment with short term and long-term objectives.
Translating strategy into a clear set of strategic priorities and plans for the site, clear goals and metrics and drive results, a culture of transparency, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Regular, consistent, and transparent communication with the wider groups and other senior leaders on business activities, potential threats, opportunities, and recommended actions.
Monitoring site performance and establish corrective measures as needed, and prepare detailed reports, both current and forecasting.
Developing and support management team to deliver against departmental goals.
