Requirements

  • Manufacturing or related field Degree or relevant work experience
  • 7-10 years experience in the automotive/ production field (required if candidate holds no degree)
  • A strategic thinker who is also effective working closely with the manufacturing operation.
  • A results oriented leader with experience driving a best practice culture and driving accountability at all levels.
  • Working knowledge Continuous Improvement and a proven track record of managing a business through a period of change.
  • Strong leadership and people development skills.
  • The ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization.

Responsibilities

  • All aspects of the site's operational, quality & financial targets, ensuring all departments are interlinking with the commercial teams effectively.
  • Overall responsibility for all environmental matters within the site and liaison with the effectively.
  • Manage all functions within the site P&L operating within a wider group environment - including strategy, operations, HR, finance, sales, capital expenditures, forecasting, budgeting, audit performance and expense management and support key divisional planning.
  • Establishing and implementing strategies that have long-term impact on business results in alignment with group objectives.
  • Developing actionable business strategies and plans for the site that ensure alignment with short term and long-term objectives.
  • Translating strategy into a clear set of strategic priorities and plans for the site, clear goals and metrics and drive results, a culture of transparency, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Regular, consistent, and transparent communication with the wider groups and other senior leaders on business activities, potential threats, opportunities, and recommended actions.
  • Monitoring site performance and establish corrective measures as needed, and prepare detailed reports, both current and forecasting.
  • Developing and support management team to deliver against departmental goals.
