About The Position

Plant Manager for Manufacturing Facility in Jacksonville, Texas We are seeking a qualified and experienced leader to manage our new start up manufacturing facility in Jacksonville, Texas. The position of Plant Manager is the highest level of responsibility within this facility and will be responsible for the oversight and outcomes of all operations at this location. Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: Operations Responsible for all plant operations. Directs and manages workforce, production, maintenance, quality, safety, environmental, distribution and other production-related activities. Will collaborate to develop and have responsibility for maintaining standards and metrics to measure the effectiveness of all areas of operations. Coordinates plant activities through planning with departmental managers at out-of-state corporate headquarters to ensure the total manufacturing objectives are accomplished in a timely and cost-effective manner. Workforce Responsible for leading and influencing the safety and wellbeing of employees, in support of Corporate Safety Objectives. Provides direction, development and leadership to all plant personnel. Responsible for developing talent pipeline within area, including Supervisors and support staff. Ensures all employees are properly trained and qualified per company standards. Will ensure adequate staffing and scheduling for three shift, 24-7 facility. Facility Responsible for maintaining plant facilities and equipment including coordinating with corporate personnel, to ensure adequate resources are in place for safe, efficient and continuous operations. Incorporates shop floor organization and plant cleanliness among plant personnel. Implements and maintains preventative maintenance programs. Financial Implements cost effective systems of control over capital, operating expenditures, and staffing / manpower. Will collaborate to develop and have responsibility for plant level budgeting, expense forecasting and management of expenses including labor, materials and MRO. Will perform all other duties and special projects as assigned. Position Job Class may vary based on scope of plant / facility, including number of employees, sales volume, and profitability. Position Qualifications & Requirements: Education: Bachelor's degree preferred. Experience: Proven Track Record. Five (5) years of plant/general management experience in a manufacturing environment, preferred. Personal: You are committed to achieving results. Familiarity with plant level ESG and ISO requirements preferred. Supervisory responsibilities: Supervisors, Staff, Hourly employees Work environment: Manufacturing facility containing metals melting, forming, and fabrication utilizing cranes, & forklifts. Fast-paced working environment, extremely hot at times. Must be able to walk extensively during the workday and stand for extended periods of time. Must be able to wear required Personal Protective equipment (PPE) for extended periods of time. Computer work. Travel: Domestic and International during start-up phase for training purposes. Occasional travel after year 1.

Requirements
