Founded in 1989, PPI has four custom blow molding plants located in Sand Springs, OK, Pleasant Prairie, WI, Hagerstown, MD, and North Las Vegas, NV. Parker Plastics is looking to hire an Assistant Plant Manager / Plant Manager to join our growing company and lead overall operations in our Maryland plant. This individual would join as our Assistant Plant Manager and step into the Plant Manager role upon the current Plant Manager’s upcoming retirement. This is a “hands-on” position for someone with relevant technical expertise and active management experience. The Plant Manager has direct oversight of all plant functions, policies, and procedures across safety, personnel, operations, business planning, and communications. The Plant Manager will lead production efforts by developing and implementing near-term tactics and identifying goals and objectives to meet the company’s vision, mission, and long-range strategic plans. The Plant Manager will manage employees and material resources to ensure that product is produced efficiently, cost effectively, on-time, and at optimum quality levels. Continuous improvement and cost reduction through constant assessment of employee, machine, and process effectiveness is a key requirement for the role.
