About The Position

The Plant Manager is the senior operating leader responsible for the overall performance, stabilization, and operational excellence of the TASKI Toledo manufacturing site. This leader owns safety, quality, labor productivity, delivery performance, inventory execution, and financial performance while driving operational rigor across a complex discrete manufacturing and assembly operation. This role requires a highly hands-on leader with deep expertise in discrete manufacturing systems, labor efficiency, assembly operations, production flow, material management, and daily management disciplines. The successful candidate must be capable of stabilizing and scaling a growing operation that currently faces multiple operational constraints including supply chain variability, SAP/MRP process gaps, procurement challenges, component shortages, backorders, labor volatility, and evolving production ramp requirements. This is not a passive maintenance role. This leader must thrive in fast-paced operational environments requiring structure creation, problem-solving, accountability systems, and operational turnaround capability.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, or related field preferred
  • 7+ years of manufacturing leadership experience in discrete manufacturing, assembly, or engineered products environments
  • Demonstrated success leading plant operations, operational turnarounds, or performance recovery initiatives
  • Strong experience with: Labor productivity management, OEE improvement, Lean Manufacturing, Tiered daily management systems, Assembly operations, Production scheduling, Inventory/material flow, SAP or ERP-based manufacturing systems
  • Proven ability to lead in environments with supply chain volatility and operational complexity
  • Strong floor leadership presence and ability to drive accountability at all organizational levels
  • Experience improving OTIF, throughput, labor efficiency, and operational stability

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in electromechanical assembly, equipment manufacturing, industrial products, or high-mix discrete manufacturing
