About The Position

Mountain Lakes Services is seeking a Plant Manager for Essex Industries in Mineville, NY. This role involves overseeing the daily operations of a manufacturing business while creating meaningful opportunities for people of varying abilities to work, contribute, learn, and grow. The Plant Manager will build relationships with customers and dealers, respond to inquiries, understand customer needs, and convert opportunities into orders and long-term relationships. This position guides the day-to-day operations, sets priorities, ensures production continuity, and guarantees customers receive quality products on time.

Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Experience in manufacturing, production, woodworking, assembly, or a related operational environment.
Prior supervisory or leadership experience required.
Experience coordinating production, workflow, inventory, quality, equipment, or similar operational responsibilities required.

Nice To Haves

Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in business, manufacturing, operations management, or a related field preferred.
Relevant experience may be a substitute for formal education.
Experience working directly with customers, vendors, sales, estimating, or business development is preferred.
Experience with woodworking equipment and manufacturing processes is strongly preferred.
