Plant Manager / Turnaround Leader
About The Position
Transco Rail Services, a Marmon Rail Company backed by Berkshire Hathaway, is seeking a Plant Manager for its Miles City, Montana facility. This facility is undergoing a growth phase with significant modernization and expansion. The Plant Manager will have full site leadership responsibility, impacting safety, operations, culture, customer satisfaction, and financial results. Transco has been a leader in railcar repair and manufacturing for over 85 years, with a network across North America. The Plant Manager is the senior leader of the Miles City repair facility, accountable for operational performance, customer confidence, workforce engagement, safety, quality, and profitability.
Requirements
- 10+ years of progressive industrial, manufacturing, maintenance, or technical operations leadership
- 7+ years managing multi-shift operations
- Experience leading turnaround, transformation, or performance improvement initiatives
- Strong financial and operational acumen
Nice To Haves
- Rail, heavy equipment, aerospace, automotive, energy, or related industrial experience preferred
