About The Position

Install, inspect, maintain, modify, and repair company facilities, machinery, and/or mechanical systems. This role requires operating hand trucks, bridge cranes, hoists, forklifts, and other material moving equipment. The technician will also be responsible for safely operating various equipment, both powered and manual, to maintain company facilities, and will be expected to possess good skills in multiple trades such as welding, plumbing, and mechanical work. The position involves helping to maintain all types of company equipment and meeting or exceeding quality and safety expectations.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent required.
Demonstrate good mechanical and welding skills.
Demonstrate appropriate reading, clerical, and basic math skills.
Be able to regularly handle items weighing up to 50 pounds, and occasionally handle items weighing in excess of 50 pounds.
Have a good work record, including indications of strong self-motivation, reliable attendance, attention to quality, ability to learn new skills, and a cordial, cooperative personality.
A safe, strong driving record.
Have good observational and problem recognition skills.

Responsibilities
