About The Position

Turner Staffing Group is hiring a Plant Maintenance Technician for an aggregate quarry in Torrance, Pennsylvania. The technician will help keep the crushing and processing plant operating safely by inspecting, maintaining, and repairing equipment, and by responding quickly to breakdowns to limit downtime. The role pays $25.50 per hour and is scheduled Monday through Friday, 4:00 pm to 2:00 am. Overtime and weekend work may be needed for repairs and planned shutdowns.

Requirements

• Hands-on mechanical maintenance experience in an industrial, quarry, or mining setting.
• Working knowledge of mechanical and hydraulic systems.
• Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and basic diagnostic equipment.
• Ability to work overtime, weekends, and shutdowns when needed.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen.

Nice To Haves

• 6+ months of experience maintaining crushing or plant equipment.
• Current MSHA Part 46 training.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, maintain, and repair crushers, screens, conveyors, feeders, and other plant equipment.
• Replace wear parts such as crusher liners, screen media, belts, idlers, and bearings.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and basic electrical problems to restore production quickly.
• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance, lubrication, and equipment inspections.
• Support planned shutdowns and major component change-outs.
• Record completed work, parts used, and equipment condition.
• Follow MSHA regulations and site safety procedures, including lockout/tagout and conveyor guarding.
• Report safety hazards and equipment issues to the plant supervisor.
