This position is responsible for safely keeping equipment running and maintained properly throughout Central Region.

Requirements

High school GED equivalent or higher, military, or work experience in related field. (Concrete, Construction, Asphalt, Aggregate production)
Knowledge or Mechanical and/or Electrical plus Welding.

Responsibilities

Available to work Monday - Friday and weekends as needed.
Ability to do some travel with overnight.
Responsible to provide basic hand tools, battery and pneumatic and some specialty tools.
Ability to obtain and maintain proper licensures, medical card and acceptable driving record.
Ability to work at heights.
Responsible for performing maintenance and repairs of all types of equipment and / or assisting with repairs/improvements/maintenance of equipment to ensure proper safety working conditions.
Troubleshooting equipment (visually and audibly) maintenance problems to properly diagnose components to determine method and extent of repair necessary.
Read, interpret, analyze and apply information in technical manuals and schematics.
To communicate effectively (verbal, listen & written).
Frequent contact and communication with others within and outside the company.
Self-motivated, team-player, ability to work independently or in a team setting.
To properly and safely operate cutting torches and perform welding tasks.
Fill out and maintain all needed forms, i.e. (timecards, vehicle inspection, safety forms, work orders)
Drive and maintain mechanics work truck.
Properly and safely operate/use and maintain specialized equipment/tools.
Ensure OSHA, EPA, DNR, safety and environmental regulations compliance.
Clean, maintain and prepare work areas.
Must be capable of obtaining CDL.
Performs other duties assigned.
