About The Position

We are looking for a Plant Maintenance Technician Senior to join the team in Bloomington, MN. The primary objective of this role is to perform preventive and corrective maintenance on critical building support systems. This includes systems such as Reverse Osmosis, Deionized and Chilled Water Systems, Environmental Control Systems (Makeup Air, Air Handling & Roof Top Units), Hot Water and Low-Pressure Steam Boilers, Acid Waste Neutralization Systems, Bulk Chemical & Gas Distribution Systems, Exhaust Systems (Fume Scrubbers, General Exhaust Fans), and Compressed Dry Air Systems. The position also involves maintaining a clean and safe work environment, assisting with project planning and task execution, and documenting and improving facilities procedures. Other duties as assigned are also part of the role.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
• One or more of the following: AA/AS Degree or greater in Related Field.
• One or more of the following: 4 or more years of Plant/Facilities Maintenance or Related Experience.
• One or more of the following: 4 or more years of Military Experience in Related Field.
• Highly motivated individual who can achieve positive results in a team atmosphere.
• Ability to obtain a minimum of a 2C boilers license within 1 ½ years.
• Ability to adapt to constantly changing priorities and environmental conditions.
• Able to work and solve problems both independently and in a team environment.
• Ability to troubleshoot electrical and mechanical equipment.
• Ability to read and understand schematics and one-line drawings.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Must be a U.S. Person as defined by ITAR (U.S. citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident, Political Asylee, or Refugee).

Nice To Haves

• Semiconductor Facilities Maintenance Experience.
• 8 or more years of experience in Facilities Maintenance or Related Field.
• Certifications, Licenses or Experience in any of the following: HVAC Electrical (Industrial-Level)
• Certifications, Licenses or Experience in any of the following: Building Automation
• Certifications, Licenses or Experience in any of the following: Boilers (Class C)
• Certifications, Licenses or Experience in any of the following: Bulk Chemical Distribution Systems
• Certifications, Licenses or Experience in any of the following: Bulk and Specialty Cylinder Gas Systems
• Certifications, Licenses or Experience in any of the following: AutoCAD Software

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive & corrective maintenance on critical building support systems including Reverse Osmosis, Deionized and Chilled Water Systems.
• Perform preventive & corrective maintenance on Environmental Control Systems: Makeup Air, Air Handling & Roof Top Units.
• Perform preventive & corrective maintenance on Hot Water and Low-Pressure Steam Boilers.
• Perform preventive & corrective maintenance on Acid Waste Neutralization Systems.
• Perform preventive & corrective maintenance on Bulk Chemical & Gas Distribution Systems.
• Perform preventive & corrective maintenance on Exhaust Systems: Fume Scrubbers and General Exhaust Fans.
• Perform preventive & corrective maintenance on Compressed Dry Air Systems.
• Maintain a Clean and Safe Work Environment.
• Assist with Project Planning and Task Execution.
• Document Facilities Procedures & make Improvements to Procedures as needed.
• Performing other duties as assigned.
