This role provides ongoing technical support for all WMHS Microsoft SQL Server 2005/2012 Production, Development and QA database servers, focusing on security, maintenance, optimization, availability, and recoverability. The DBA Senior is expected to take a leadership role in architecting strategies for efficient Database Administration. The position involves performing diagnostic evaluations on equipment, making necessary repairs, and responding to urgent repair calls. The technician will ensure repairs are completed promptly to maintain operational readiness. Routine, preventive, corrective, and scheduled maintenance will be performed on a variety of plant machinery. This includes work on autoclave process equipment/systems, air pollution control devices, pumps, hydraulic systems, pH control and chemical injection systems, fire tube boilers, water treatment equipment, air handling equipment, commercial washers, pneumatic and hydraulic systems, conveyor systems, and electrical generator systems. Additionally, the role involves general air pneumatics, general plumbing, and light electrical maintenance on plant equipment (480V/240V/120V/24V systems), PLC, robotics troubleshooting, and control loop systems. Fabrication skills, including welding, torch use, plasma cutting, and grinding, are also required. The technician will assist the Facility/Maintenance Manager with general tasks to ensure a safe, clean, healthy, and efficient facility, supporting WMHS’s commitment to Safety. Results will be documented through work orders or a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS). The role requires staying current on safety training and being on-call for emergency repairs outside of scheduled shifts. This is a safety-sensitive position requiring strict adherence to all safety rules and protocols, and may involve drug and alcohol testing.
