About The Position
American Natural Processors in Cherokee IA is seeking an Experienced Maintenance Technician with an electrical emphasis to join our team. This is a 2nd shift position from 2pm to 10:30pm with an On Call rotation every 3 weeks. We are looking for a skilled individual with a strong background in electrical maintenance. The ideal candidate will have experience in diagnosing and repairing electrical problems, as well as performing preventive maintenance on a variety of equipment. A high level of attention to detail and the ability to work independently are crucial to success in this role. Requirements
- Strong background in electrical maintenance.
- Experience in diagnosing and repairing electrical problems.
- Experience performing preventive maintenance on a variety of equipment.
- High level of attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently.
- Strong understanding of electrical systems.
- Proven track record of successfully diagnosing and repairing electrical problems.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and blueprints.
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience working in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Maintaining and repairing electrical systems, including but not limited to: motors, starters, control panels, and electrical distribution equipment.
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical issues in a timely manner.
- Perform preventive maintenance tasks as needed.
