About The Position

We are currently seeking experienced Plant Maintenance Mechanics with strong troubleshooting abilities and knowledge in electrical controls, PLCs, hydraulics, pneumatics, and industrial maintenance systems for our Modesto Manufacturing Facility.
Requirements
- 3–5 years of maintenance mechanic experience in manufacturing or food production
- Experience with electrical systems, controls, PLCs, and industrial equipment
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally
- Must be able to stand, walk, kneel, climb, and bend throughout the shift
- Must be able to work in wet and high-noise manufacturing environments
- Must be available to work any shift, including overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Must be able to pass pre-employment screening including background and drug testing
Nice To Haves
- Ammonia refrigeration experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production, packaging, and processing equipment
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on plant systems
- Work with electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and PLC-controlled equipment
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals
- Support continuous improvement and equipment reliability initiatives
- Maintain compliance with food safety and workplace safety standards
