About The Position

Amplify Energy is seeking a team-oriented individual with strong planning and job-management skills for its Bairoil, Wyoming location. The Plant Maintenance Mechanic monitors and maintains plant machinery and equipment. The role involves servicing, maintaining, and repairing equipment, compressors, and other machinery; completing assigned preventive maintenance; following technical documentation and work instructions; inspecting equipment for proper operation and safety; and communicating safety hazards and quality deficiencies to management. The employee must know and comply with applicable PSM and DOT programs. Duties may extend beyond those listed.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of compressor maintenance experience and related experience in the oil and gas industry.
• At least 3 years of pump experience.
• Mechanical aptitude.
• Ability to meet physical demands including heavy lifting, kneeling, bending, and working at elevated heights.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• High school diploma.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with Ariel, Worthington, Cooper, and Howden compressors.
• Experience with Goulds, Blackmere, and Viking centrifugal and positive-displacement pumps.
• Some college.

Responsibilities

• Service, maintain, and repair equipment, compressors, and other machinery.
• Complete preventive maintenance as assigned.
• Read and follow schematic diagrams, drawings, service manuals, and work instructions.
• Inspect equipment to ensure proper operation and safety.
• Identify and communicate safety hazards and quality deficiencies to management.
• Know and comply with all PSM and DOT programs.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
