About The Position

Within our Plant Manufacturing team located in Roswell, New Mexico – Leprino is seeking a Maintenance Manager to move our organization to even larger levels of operational efficiency and team development! Coordinate maintenance activities to support production goals while ensuring team safety and equipment readiness. Oversee day-to-day maintenance operations, ensuring machines run smoothly and unexpected issues are resolved quickly. Monitor and improve safety practices by providing staff with the tools, knowledge, and support needed to work confidently and securely. Lead the implementation of predictive maintenance tools that support reliable operations and reduce downtime. Stay organized with scheduling, planning, and resource allocation to help reduce costs and avoid disruptions. Guide equipment purchasing and manage inventory so teams have access to the right materials and services. Help build long-term improvements by integrating technical know-how, team insights, and evolving plant priorities.

Requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Maintenance, or a related field
  • At least 8 years of experience in manufacturing, including time supporting maintenance or plant operations
  • A minimum of 5 years in a leadership role with direct oversight of frontline supervisors or teams
  • Experience with production equipment including electrical systems, controls, and industrial processes

Nice To Haves

  • A master’s degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or related technical field
  • Experience in dairy or cheese manufacturing environments
  • Knowledge of food processing systems, sanitation standards, or cold-chain operations
  • Familiarity with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) and storeroom coordination
