About The Position

The Maintenance Manager is responsible for overseeing the efficient and effective maintenance of all facility systems and equipment, ensuring a safe, reliable, and fully functional working environment. This role includes managing maintenance records, tracking work orders, and ensuring compliance with all safety and operational standards. The position is based in Denver, CO. The salary rate is $130,000.00 annually. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering, or a related field preferred.
  • 6–8 years of progressive experience in maintenance, reliability, or engineering leadership within manufacturing (food or CPG preferred).
  • Strong technical knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and automation systems.
  • Proven experience implementing RCM, TPM, and other reliability frameworks.
  • Proficiency with CMMS/EAM platforms and reliability analytics tools.
  • Demonstrated success in capital planning, project management, and cross‑functional collaboration.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Minimum 3 years of manufacturing plant engineering/management experience, including financial management and project development.

Responsibilities

  • Manage engineering and maintenance services to maximize financial results from plant capital expenditures, maintenance budgets, production equipment, and fixed assets.
  • Ensure operational reliability.
  • Oversee preventive maintenance compliance and effectiveness.
  • Oversee 5S compliance.
  • Create and manage overhaul schedules for sustained performance.
  • Manage the Capital Asset program in alignment with the Annual Operating Plan and established policy.
  • Train, develop, and assign accountabilities for mechanics and related staff.
  • Ensure regulatory compliance (OSHA, EPA, FDA, USDA, HACCP, etc.).
  • Lead and develop a high‑performing maintenance team, fostering a culture of safety, accountability, and technical excellence.
  • Design and implement reliability‑centered maintenance (RCM) strategies to improve asset uptime and reduce unplanned downtime.
  • Oversee preventive, predictive, and condition‑based maintenance programs using CMMS and advanced diagnostic tools.
  • Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) and FMEA to address recurring equipment issues.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety, regulatory, and performance standards (OSHA, EPA, FDA, USDA).
  • Align maintenance and reliability goals with production, quality, safety, and training objectives.
  • Lead plant‑wide initiatives using Lean, TPM, and Six Sigma methodologies to improve OEE.
  • Support capital project planning and execution, ensuring reliability and maintainability are integrated.
  • Champion autonomous maintenance and operator‑care programs to promote frontline ownership of equipment health.
  • Oversee maintenance planning and scheduling to minimize production disruptions.
  • Manage spare parts inventory, vendor relationships, and maintenance budgets.
  • Ensure CMMS data integrity and accurate documentation of procedures and standards.
  • Track and report on maintenance KPIs, equipment reliability metrics, and audit readiness.
  • Develop and implement technical training programs for maintenance and operations personnel.
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement and proactive problem‑solving.
  • Lead staff development in troubleshooting, equipment onboarding, and reliability best practices.
