About The Position

This role performs preventative maintenance and repairs on crushers, conveyors, screens, and other quarry plant equipment. The position involves troubleshooting mechanical issues to minimize downtime and maintain production efficiency, inspecting equipment for wear, damage, or safety concerns, and fabricating, welding, and replacing components as needed. A strong commitment to safety procedures and a proactive safety culture is essential.

Requirements

• Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to diagnose and repair industrial equipment
• Demonstrated commitment to working safely in a heavy industrial environment
• Experience or ability to perform welding, cutting, and fabrication tasks
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively to solve problems
• Reliability, adaptability, and a focus on quality workmanship
• Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check
• Some positions require FMCSA regulated ongoing drug and alcohol testing

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on crushers, conveyors, screens, and other quarry plant equipment
• Troubleshoot mechanical issues to minimize downtime and maintain production efficiency
• Inspect equipment and identify wear, damage, or safety concerns
• Fabricate, weld, and replace components as needed to support plant operations
• Follow all safety procedures while contributing to a proactive safety culture
