About The Position

This position is responsible to oversee plant operations, including mining, crushing and yard facilities. Typical schedule is Monday - Friday 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM with frequent Saturday work. Hours may vary due to weather and customer demand.

Requirements

  • Safety first attitude required.
  • Previous supervisory experience required.
  • Working knowledge of crushing aggregates required.
  • Computer skills and working knowledge of Microsoft excel.
  • Requires high degree of skills in planning, organization, supervising, communication and observation.
  • A Valid driver's license in good standing.
  • Ability to pass a criminal background and pre-employment drug screen.
  • Basic knowledge of plant operation, conveyor systems, and maintenance.
  • Must have good mechanical, troubleshooting, and some welding ability.
  • Need positive attitude and the ability to work well with others and follow directions.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee plant operations, including mining, crushing and yard facilities.
  • Keep inventory, prepare production schedules and reports, maintain operations logs as necessary.
  • Participate in quality control to ensure materials being produced meet product specifications.
  • Ensure all operations follow all legal and regulatory requirements, including air and water quality, permit conditions, dumpsite policies and MSHA, OSHA.
  • Assure all safety policies and procedures are followed to prevent all unsafe actions, processes and behaviors observed.
  • Work day-to-day with frontline employees providing overall guidance and direction while promoting the individual development of all team members.
  • Ensure that quality of all materials exceeds customers’ expectations.
  • Coordinate with sales team and management to determine production schedules.
  • Work with other team members on production, quality, maintenance, environmental, personnel or safety issues.
