The Plant Human Resource Manager will lead the main responsibilities of the Human Resource (HR) department including employee engagement, talent strategy, plant leadership support, recruiting, administering pay, benefits, and leave, and managing company policies and practices. The role involves providing support and guidance to the leadership team, advising on organizational policy matters, and recommending changes. It also includes partnering with the leadership team to understand and execute the plant’s human resource and talent strategy, focusing on current and future talent needs, recruiting, and retention. The position serves as a link between management and employees by handling questions, interpreting and administering policies, and helping resolve work-related problems. Responsibilities also include maintaining records, compiling statistical reports on personnel data, analyzing data to identify causes of personnel problems and develop recommendations, managing the end-to-end recruiting process for production workers, advising on non-production recruiting, planning and supervising subordinate staff, creating learning and development programs, handling discipline and termination, and ensuring compliance with employment laws and regulations. The role requires staying updated on HR trends, best practices, and legal changes.
