About The Position

As the Human Resources Manager, you will serve as the onsite HR leader, partnering with employees and management to support recruiting, employee relations, engagement, training, payroll, compliance, and workforce initiatives. This hands-on role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about creating a positive employee experience. This role is on-site based out of our Yorkville, IL location. The plant operates Monday through Friday across three shifts. While this position primarily works standard business hours, occasional support for employee events, off-shift employee needs, or urgent business situations during evenings and weekends may be required.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in related discipline is required.
  • Minimum of five years’ experience in Human Resources with a minimum of two years as a manager.
  • Spanish proficiency required.
  • Strong communication, analytical abilities, and organization skills.
  • General proficiency with computers and software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams).

Nice To Haves

  • Human Resources management experience in a food manufacturing environment is preferred

Responsibilities

  • Lead full-cycle recruiting efforts to attract and hire top talent to support plant growth and success.
  • Lead all plant payroll activities, including timekeeping validation, payroll review and approval, issue resolution, and coordination with payroll and finance teams to ensure accurate, timely, and compliant employee payments.
  • Serve as a trusted HR partner to plant leadership, providing guidance and support on employee relations and workforce matters.
  • Champion company policies, programs, and initiatives while ensuring clear communication and consistent application across the site.
  • Build strong relationships with employees and leaders to foster an engaged, inclusive, and positive workplace culture.
  • Ensure HR practices remain compliant with employment laws, regulations, and company standards.
  • Support employees and managers in a dynamic 24/5 manufacturing environment, helping address workforce needs as they arise.
  • Contribute to special projects and other HR initiatives that drive continuous improvement and employee success.
