About The Position

The Plant HR Manager serves as the strategic and operational Human Resources leader for Dynacraft's McKinney manufacturing facility. This role provides leadership and guidance in employee relations, workforce planning, recruiting, performance management, investigations, employee engagement, compliance, compensation administration, leave management, organizational development, and workforce strategy. The Plant HR Manager directly manages, coaches, and develops a team of 4-5 HR professionals and is responsible for ensuring consistent HR service delivery across the plant. The position serves as a trusted business partner to plant leadership, supporting both hourly and salaried employee populations while driving initiatives that support employee engagement, operational effectiveness, leadership development, and compliance with company policies and employment regulations.

Requirements

  • Minimum of seven (7) years of experience in HR Management (in manufacturing environment, preferred).
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development, Industrial Relations, or a related field required.
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws, performance management, coaching, and employee development practices.
  • Demonstrated leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Strong verbal, written, and presentation communication skills.
  • Self-motivated, organized, adaptable, and effective in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s degree preferred.
  • SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR certification preferred.
  • Experience with SAP, Workforce, HRIS systems, and manufacturing operations preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Lead all plant employee relations activities and workplace investigations.
  • Manage, develop, and coach a team of 4-5 HR professionals.
  • Serve as the primary HR business partner for plant leadership.
  • Support workforce planning, staffing, onboarding, and talent development initiatives.
  • Administer performance management and corrective action processes.
  • Ensure compliance with employment laws and company policies.
  • Lead employee engagement programs and communication initiatives.
  • Analyze workforce metrics and recommend improvement strategies.
  • Support compensation, organizational changes, and succession planning activities.
  • Partner with leaders on organizational effectiveness and employee development.
  • Support leave administration, accommodations, and return-to-work activities.
  • Drive continuous improvement within HR systems, processes, and service delivery.
