About The Position

The Plant Health Services Crew Lead leads the department’s operations and team, ensuring safety, quality, efficiency, and exceptional customer service while meeting contract requirements and achieving departmental sales and profit goals. The Plant Health Services Crew Lead oversees the administrative and field operations of the department, including contract performance, scheduling, crew management, job-site quality, safety, equipment and inventory, procurement, and production standards. This role is responsible for ensuring efficient and profitable operations, maintaining strong client relationships, supporting employee performance and development, and overseeing department sales, estimating, and contract administration. The Crew Lead also ensures compliance with company safety standards and stays current on industry practices related to plant health, horticulture, sustainability, and water conservation.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of Plant Health Services experience
  • 4+ years of project management experience
  • Applicable Michigan pesticide licenses/certifications
  • Strong knowledge of horticulture and landscape practices
  • Strong leadership, communication, organizational, delegation, and project-management skills
  • Proficiency with technology
  • Valid and insurable driving record
