Plant Health Care Technician
About The Position
Joshua Tree Experts is searching for a dedicated Plant Health Care Technician in Tampa, FL to join our team. This role is for individuals passionate about working outdoors, solving problems, and building strong relationships with clients. The technician will be responsible for diagnosing and treating common issues for ornamental trees and shrubs, operating equipment, providing excellent customer service, completing daily work efficiently, meeting production goals, and identifying opportunities for new business. Additionally, they will perform daily truck inspections, basic equipment maintenance, and complete necessary paperwork.
Requirements
- Self-motivated, organized, and driven individual with strong communication skills.
- Physical ability to repeatedly lift 50+ lbs and work in demanding conditions.
- Valid driver's license.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Experience in plant health care application services, Qualified Supervisor, or is a Certified Applicator with state-issued certification.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and treat common issues for ornamental trees and shrubs.
- Safely operate a spray rig, backpack sprayer, air spade, and other arboriculture equipment.
- Provide excellent customer service and build lasting trust with new and existing clients.
- Complete daily work efficiently and meet production goals.
- Identify other service needs to help generate new business.
- Perform daily truck inspections and basic equipment maintenance.
- Accurately complete all necessary paperwork.
