About The Position

Lifescape Colorado, part of the Mariani Premier Group, is seeking skilled Plant Health Care (PHC) Technicians to join their expanding team. The PHC Technician is responsible for maintaining the Lifescape Plant Health Care Program, ensuring quality control, and performing various duties. This role requires an individual who collaborates effectively, demonstrates natural leadership, takes direction well, and shows a continuous desire for learning and professional development.

Requirements

  • Valid driver’s license with approval by fleet insurance carrier
  • Knowledge in pest/disease identification
  • Proficient in calibrating spreader/sprayers
  • Knowledge mixing/handling chemicals and pesticides
  • Previous experience operating snowplows, truck and trailers, box trucks, and other maintenance equipment

Nice To Haves

  • CDA Pesticide Applicators License – QS (Qualified Supervisor) or CO (Certified Operator)
  • 2+ years of field experience
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish)

Responsibilities

  • Safely and accurately mix and properly store pesticides
  • Complete and maintain chemical logs
  • Perform recommended fertilization and integrated pest management on plants using spray
  • Complete diagnostic reports and record results
  • Learn and understand Colorado native insect & disease life cycles, plant biology, and soil biology
  • Continuously monitor the pest control and fertilizing methods after application and communicate progress
  • Abide by the federal, state, and local rules and regulations governing the application of pesticides
  • Accurately record time for self and crew(s) using Aspire Crew Mobile daily
  • Effectively communicate changes in material, design, etc. to crew members
  • Properly maintain PHC vehicle and inventory
  • Communicate employee issues to Property Care Production Manager(s) or Garden Manager(s)
  • Assist in seasonal snow removal
  • Reference “Snow Manual” on each property to ensure proper service
  • Plow, shovel, and apply ice melt in designated areas as assigned
