About The Position

The Plant General Manager is accountable for the profit and loss of the facility, ensuring environmental, health, and safety compliance with company policies, laws, state, and federal regulations. This role oversees manufacturing operations including throughput, cost and waste control, maintenance, quality, inventory control, and meeting budgeted production metrics. The position also involves sales responsibilities such as local sales, customer service, partnering with the sales manager to establish and meet facility sales goals, identifying and targeting market segments, and deploying division pricing strategy. Strategic planning, including business, marketing, and capital planning processes, is also a key aspect. Additionally, the role supports positive labor relations, manages human resources functions like workforce engagement, diversity, recruiting, hiring, employee and leadership development, and employee labor relations, and handles financial management including establishing and managing budgets and compliance with financial controls.

Requirements

  • Seven to ten years corrugated experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Accountable for profit and loss of the facility.

  • Help to maintain and support positive labor relations.
