As a Plant Financial Analyst, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by: Providing financial insights and developing predictive analytics to support plant financial performance. Leading plant and business teams through the annual forecasting process, including preparation and submission of the plant’s annual P&L and Balance Sheet Operating Plan. Preparing accurate weekly and monthly financial forecasts, performing variance analysis, and supporting month-end close activities for the plant. Ensuring compliance with 3M Global Financial Standards and GAAP requirements. Maintaining accurate costing for current SKUs during the annual inventory revaluation process and throughout the year as needed. Analyzing financial return on investment and driving improved returns on plant expenditures, including AFE (Authorization for Expenditure) initiatives. Providing financial support to other plants, as assigned. Responsibilities of this position include that corporate policies, procedures and security standards are complied with while performing assigned duties. Safety is a core value at 3M.
